Jessica Brown

Jessica Brown was a four-year letter-winner at UNLV, and helped the Rebels to consecutive appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2004 and 2005.  The Las Vegas, Nev. native was also a four-time member of the Mountain West Conference All-Academic team and served as a student assist during the 2006 season.  During her junior season with the Rebels, Brown tallied the third-highest single-season assist total in the school’s history.  Between her collegiate seasons at UNLV, Brown competed in the Women’s Premier Soccer League as a member of the Elk Grove Pride from California and the Las Vegas Tabagators.

Brown also has extensive club experience as both a player and a coach.  The new Thunderbird assistant comes to SUU from Neusport FC in Las Vegas where she served as the club’s Executive Director.  During her playing days Brown was a member of Nemesis FC, a program that captured six consecutive state cup titles.  Brown was also a four- year letter-winner at Bishop Gorman High School where she was named the Gatorade High School Player of the Year in 2002.

"I am very excited to bring Jessica onto our staff,” said Stock of the latest addition to the SUU soccer program.  “I have been blessed to have great assistants in the past and Jessica will continue that trend.  From her playing days to her time as a coaching professional she has a wealth of valuable experience and perspective that will help us continue to move the program forward.  Jessica is very passionate about the game and brings a great mentality to the sideline.  She will be a great mentor for our players."

Brown earned her Bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from UNLV in 2006.  She is the daughter of Ed and Janie Brown.
