Lauren Hough brings more Big Sky experience to the SUU coaching staff after spending four years as a starter at Idaho State University from 2007-10. Her career as a defender with the Bengals saw the Cota De Caza, California receive All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition and be selected as the team MVP in her senior season.

Hough’s coaching experience includes working with the Portneuf Valley Soccer Club and ISU camps as well as serving as a private trainer for the Coerver Soccer Academy. She also volunteered at Soccer for Hope, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for children with life-threatening diseases.

Hough earned a degree in mass communications with a minor in organizational communications at Idaho State and is currently pursuing a masters degree in professional communication at Southern Utah University.
