Theresa Reedy will enter her third year as the assistant coach for Southern Utah University after being appointed in the Summer of 2008. Reedy joined the Thunderbirds by way of Murray State University and is the newest piece of the puzzle to help SUU continue its rise in The Summit League and the NCAA ranks.
Reedy was a two-year graduate assistant for Murray State after a record-setting four-year career as a Racer. Her coaching responsibilities included working with players individually and handling administrative duties.
The three-time all-Ohio Valley Conference selection ranked first in MSU history for career goals (34), points (81), shots (201) and shots on goal (99). Her 2004 season total of 13 goals was tied for the top spot. In addition, she held the record for shots in a season (77) and shots on goal in a season with 39.
The St. Ann, Mo., native graduated from Murray State with bachelor and master's degrees in sport and exercise psychology and was a two-time member of the OVC Commissioner's honor roll.
