2009 OUT:  Competed in seven meets during the outdoor season ... narrowly missed the medal stand at the outdoor conference championships, finishing fourth in the heptathlon (4238) ... also just missed scoring in the high jump, finishing ninth.  2009 IN:  Competed in five meets during the indoor season ... scored the Thunderbirds at the indoor championships, finishing eighth in the indoor pentathlon (3072).

Prep:  Three-sport letterwinner at Spanish Fork HS with letters in volleyball, basketball and track & field ... team captain on the volleyball team her senior year and awarded best all-around player ... helped the Dons to three state titles in 2005, 2007 and 2008 and region titles each of her four years ... four-time state champion as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team ... finished fifth at the 2008 state championships in the 100-meter hurdles ... finished sixth in the high jump at the state championships as a freshman.

Personal: Parents are Mike and Melinda Walters ... undecided on a major course of study ... graduated from SFHS with high honors.
