OUT 2012: Competed in seven meets during the outdoor season, racing in the 100-meters, 100-meter hurdles and 200-meters ... garnered academic all-Summit League and Distinguished Scholar recognition.  OUT 2011: Competed in five meets during the outdoor season, competing in the heptathlon, 400-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relay ... finished eighth in the heptathlon at the Summit League Championship ... garnered academic all-Summit League honors.

IN 2012: Competed in one meet during the indoor season, racing in the 60-meters and 200-meters.  IN 2011: Competed in three meets during the indoor season, competing in the pentathlon, 200-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay ... finished eighth in the pentathlon at the Summit League Championship.

Prep: Placed third in state in the 100m hurdles and on 4x400m relay team ... honored as an all-region academic athlete ... three year letterman in track ... named KJZZ student-athlete of the week ... holds school records for 100m hurdles, 200m dash, 4x100m, medley and 4x400m relays.

Personal: Parents are Rodney and Faye Russell ... graduated from high school with honors and a 3.99 GPA ... majoring in pre-nursing.
