Alyssa (Yaya) Davis played soccer at SUU from 2013-2016 before being offered the Nutrition Intern position at SUU. She spent two years as the Nutrition Intern developing the first ever sports nutrition program at SUU. From 2017-2019 she attended the University of Utah while simultaneously running the nutrition program at SUU. While at Utah, she obtained her Master's degree in Sports Nutrition and completed an internship with the University of Utah Athletic Department in sports nutrition. Upon graduating with her Master's degree, she completed the Registered Dietitian exam and moved back to Cedar City to be SUU's first Sports Dietitian. She has been the Sports Dietitian for the last 4 years and is also a Nutrition Professor at SUU.
