Jarrell Harrison joins Southern Utah Football with nearly a decade of experience at Adams State, including four seasons as head coach. He began with the program in 2016 as running backs coach and special teams assistant before rising to interim head coach in 2021 and later earning the full-time role.

During his time at Adams State, Harrison coached multiple all-conference players and helped improve both defensive performance and special teams efficiency. He also made program history as the first African American head coach in school history.

A former All-American defensive back at City College of San Francisco, Harrison went on to start at the University of Missouri, where he was part of a top-10 nationally ranked team. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri and an MBA from Adams State.
