Southern Utah University Athletics

Maddi Gerhardt joined the Southern Utah University athletic department as the Director of Creative Media in September of 2022. She oversees all aspects of videography for the athletic department.

Before coming to Southern Utah, Gerhardt was the primary photographer for the Northwest Missouri State University Football Team from August 2019 to May 2022. Gerhardt worked with the team during their quarter final finishes in both the 2019 and 2021 Division II seasons. She had the opportunity to work with several other athletic teams during her time, in which she was a part of a Division II men’s basketball national championship in the 2021-2022 season. Gerhardt also contributed to the Northwest Missourian as a sports writer and photographer. 

A native of St. Joseph, Missouri, Gerhardt earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Production: Video and Audio Concentration from Northwest Missouri State University.
