Rebecca Bourgeois is currently transitioning into the role of Athletic Annual Giving Coordinator at Southern Utah University after three impactful years as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Thunderbird women's basketball program.

Bourgeois joined the coaching staff in 2023 following a standout collegiate playing career and time spent competing professionally overseas. A familiar face to T-Bird fans, she was a four-year starter in Cedar City, where she left an enduring mark on the program. Bourgeois was named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year and finished her career as Southern Utah’s all-time leader in steals (301) and second all-time in assists (494). Her leadership and drive helped shape the team’s competitive identity and laid the foundation for continued success.

As she steps into her new role supporting the broader efforts of SUU Athletics, Bourgeois brings the same passion and work ethic that made her a legend on the court and a valued member of the basketball staff. Her deep connection to the university and its student-athletes continues to guide her commitment to growing the Thunderbird legacy through impactful donor engagement and annual giving initiatives.
