Southern Utah Women’s Basketball welcomed Tamia Braggs to the staff in 2025 as an Assistant Coach and Director of Basketball Operations.
Braggs is no stranger to Cedar City, having previously served as a graduate assistant for Southern Utah Women's Basketball while completing her master’s degree. In that role, she produced digital content for the program’s social media platforms, created video highlights, and assisted with gameday operations—laying the foundation for her return to SUU in a full-time position.
Most recently, Braggs spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Academy of Art University, where she mentored student-athletes on and off the court while leading the program’s community outreach and marketing efforts.
A graduate of Santa Clara University, Braggs earned her bachelor’s degree in Media and Marketing Relations before completing her master's degree at Southern Utah University.
Braggs brings a dynamic blend of coaching experience, operational leadership, and creative media skills back to SUU, where she will play a key role in the continued growth of the Thunderbird Women’s Basketball program.
