Black and Loewen Named to the Summit League all-Tournament Team

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah University softball's Heather Black and Tessa Loewen have been named to the Summit League all-Tournament team for their performances last weekend.

Black started in the circle in each of Southern Utah's games during the tournament, throwing 8.1 innings with six strikeouts.

Loewen hit .400 during the tournament, recording two hits, a run and a walk in her five at bats.

Southern Utah qualified for the tournament as the No. 3 seed, but dropped both of its games during the weekend to finish the season with an overall record of 29-25.
