SUU Athletics to Join with KSUB for Football and Men's Basketball

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah University athletic's director Ken Beazer has announced a partnership with Cherry Creek Radio that will broadcast Thunderbird football and men's basketball games throughout the season on KSUB AM 590.

"We are excited to be back on KSUB for our football and men's basketball games for the upcoming years," Beazer said. "They have been great to work with in the past and we look forward to our partnership moving ahead."

KSUB is a member of the Cherry Creek Radio group with air waves carrying from Nephi to Mesquite, Nev. The coverage stretches across almost half of the state of Utah and reaches into Nevada and Arizona.

"KSUB is looking forward to our partnership with SUU Athletics and carry football and men's basketball games to Thunderbird fans throughout the state," KSUB station manager Bryan Komarek said.

Southern Utah University will open its football season at Nevada on Aug. 30 and its men's basketball season the first week of November.
