CEDAR CITY, Utah --     Angie Nickerson and Aidan Reed claimed All-Academic status after their performances both in the field and in the classroom during the 2018 cross country campaign.

Nickerson is currently a redshirt senior obtaining her masters in public administration. Over the 2018 cross country season, Nickerson claimed the Big Sky Individual Champion title with a time of 16:30.26.

The redshirt senior also competed at the NCAA DI National Championships where she finished 47th overall.

Reed is junior at SUU where he is studying political science. During the 2018 cross country campaign, Reed appeared in six meets for the Thunderbirds including the NCAA DI National Championships.

Both athletes will continue to compete for the Thunderbirds through the track and field season.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds men's and women's cross country teams also claimed All-Academic status for their efforts in the classroom and on the field.
