LOGAN, Utah - The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference recognized 63 student-athletes with MRGC All-Academic awards on Friday, and there were more Thunderbirds recognized than any other team in the conference.
Southern Utah led the way with 19 honorees, followed by BYU with 18 and Boise State with 14. Utah State rounded out those honored with 12 receiving recognition.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have had a 3.2 cumulative GPA for the 2018-19 school year and have appeared on the squad list during the 2019 season.
