CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah soccer team will play their final non-conference road game this weekend as they travel to Laramie, Wyoming to play the Wyoming Cowgirls.

Last Time Out

The Thunderbirds are coming off a road trip to the Lone Star state, where they squared off against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and the University of Texas at El Paso. The T-Birds ended up on the losing side of each contest. 

SUU fell to UTRGV 1-0 as they scored in the 60th minute of action. Isabella Whitmore got the start in goal for the Thunderbirds, making eight saves in the contest. 

Two days later the T-Birds fell to UTEP 2-0, as the Miners added a goal in both the first and second half. Brianna Aldridge got the start at goalie for the T-Birds in that contest, making seven saves.  

Scouting Report: Wyoming Cowgirls (2-1-2)

The Cowgirls of Wyoming have had success against the Big Sky so far this season, as their two victories this year have come against Northern Colorado (3-2) and Idaho State (4-1). They also have draws this season against UTEP and New Mexico State. 

Wyoming features four players that have scored two goals this season, as Andianna Asimus, Michaela Stark, Jamie Tatus and Keelie Wortmann have all put two goals in the back of the net. 

Hannah Lee has been the featured keeper for the Cowgirls, with 15 saves this season in over 400 minutes played.
