SALT LAKE CITY -- The Thunderbird women's tennis team opened up their 2019 season against the University of Utah on Saturday, falling on both sides of a double-header 7-0 and 5-0.
In the first matchup of the day both Chloe Purkiss and Alexandra Ngo pushed their singles matchups to three sets, but ultimately fell to their Ute opponent.
The Thunderbirds will next be in action in Fresno, California, where they'll take on Colorado (Friday, January 17) and Fresno State (Saturday, January 18).
