September 3, 2020, Cedar City, Utah - - Southern Utah University (SUU) today announced a multi-year partnership making PepsiCo the exclusive beverage provider for all campus vending, dining, residential and athletic facilities. The PepsiCo portfolio of iconic brands includes Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Muscle Milk, Bubly, Starbucks, Lipton, Tropicana, Aquafina, and Naked Juice, among others.
Conversion to PepsiCo beverage products, equipment, and signage is underway across SUU facilities including athletics for the 2020-21 academic year. The partnership includes the leading sports fuel brand Gatorade helping Thunderbird student-athletes perform at their best with a key presence at all athletic events and facilities.
PepsiCo will also launch local marketing and retail promotional opportunities both on and off-campus including SUU's Paint the Town Red and Red Riot student event each year. In addition, PepsiCo will provide broad-based marketing funds to benefit SUU student-focused initiatives while also supporting the annual Utah Summer Games held on the Cedar City campus.
