CEDAR CITY, Utah -- After suffering a loss in their first match of the season, the Thunderbird volleyball team will head out on their first Big Sky Conference road swing this weekend to square off against the University of Idaho. The first match will be played Sunday at 3:00 p.m. MT, with the second match set for 7:00 p.m. MT.
Last Time Out
The Thunderbirds fell in a sweep to the Dixie State Trailblazers in their first match of the season 3-0.
Andreanna McKee led the offensive charge for the Thunderbirds with 14 kills. Mckenzie Dowell finished with 10 kills and a .533 hitting percentage.
Corrin Peterson had 30 assists for the T-Birds.
Scouting Report: Idaho Vandals
The Vandals of Idaho started their Big Sky Conference slate 1-1 this past weekend, as they split with the Portland State Vikings.
PSU took the first match 3-2, with the Vandals claiming the second in five sets as well.
Offensively, the Vandals were led by Kennedy Warren in their victory, who finished the match with 12 kills.
On the defensive side, Nicole Ball had 11 blocks to lead the team's effort.
Hailey Pelton finished the match with 35 assists.

Sunday's match will begin at 3 p.m. MT, and Monday's is set to start at 7 p.m. MT.
