FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference released its soccer postseason awards Monday, and Southern Utah University sophomore Kamryn Farro was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Farro was the lone Thunderbird represented in the league's postseason awards.
"Kamryn has grown as a person and a player here, and she would be the first person to thank her teammates for this individual honor," said SUU head coach Kai Edwards. "This award is a product of the team around her. Kamryn is one of the most talented players in the country and we are excited to see her continue to grow."
Farro was among a five-way tie for most points scored for SUU this season. She tallied four points on a goal and two assists. Her goal against Sacramento State served as the game winner and helped the Thunderbirds to their lone conference win of the season. The California native also tallied an assist against Portland State to help the T-Birds to a draw.
For the season, Farro totaled 23 shots and 15 shots on goal for an on-goal percentage of .652. She started 15 of SUU's 16 matches and logged 1,178 minutes on the year.
