CEDAR CITY, Utah -- After a weekend on the road playing in-state rivals Weber State, the Thunderbird volleyball team returns home to host the Portland State Vikings on Sunday February 21 and Monday February 22 both at 6:00 p.m. MT.
Last Time Out
The Thunderbirds went 0-2 last week during their road outing against the Weber State Wildcats. They were defeated by the Wildcats in three sets in both matches.
The T-Birds are now 2-5 overall and 2-4 in conference play. They sit at eighth in conference play.Â
In their last game, Andreanna McKee led the T-Birds in kills with nine. Elisa Lago followed behind with six kills. Lago also had 13 digs and one ace.
Raegen Ashby sits in seventh place in the Big Sky for hitting percentage at .313 and Stacey Hone comes in at tenth for points averaging 3.26 per set and has 68.5 points this season.
Scouting Report: Portland State Vikings
Portland State has an overall record of 1-7 and Big Sky record of 0-6. The Vikings sit in eleventh place in the Big Sky volleyball standings.
Portland State is coming off of a three set loss at home to Northern Colorado. Junior Megan Sester led the team in kills with 14 and a .419 hitting percentage. Ally Wada recorded 27 assists and seven digs. Ellie Snook led in digs with 15.

Both Sunday and Monday's matches are set to begin at 6 p.m. MT.
