CEDAR CITY, Utah -- The Southern Utah University volleyball team will continue with regular season conference play hosting the Idaho State Bengals on Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7.

Last Time Out

After a weekend on the road, the Thunderbirds returned from Flagstaff going 0-2 against Northern Arizona. The T-Birds claimed the first set of the first match then the Lumberjacks took the other three. The second match was a three-set sweep by NAU.

The Thunderbirds sit at 4-7 overall and 4-6 in Big Sky play. After last week's play, the T-Birds sit in eighth among Big Sky rankings.

Offensively, Andreanna McKee totaled 22 kills over the course of last week's play. Stacey Hone followed closely with 20 kills and six blocks. Corrin Peterson finished last weekend with 59 assists and 21 digs.

Raegen Ashby sits in ninth place for hitting percentage across the Big Sky with .281. Peterson holds third place for assists in the Big Sky averaging 9.11 per set. Elisa Lago has 18 service aces this season.

Scouting Report: Idaho State Bengals

The Bengals of Idaho State have a record of 4-8 overall, 2-8 in Big Sky play. They last competed against the Northern Colorado Bears and went 0-2. Both matches were over in three sets.

Kennedy Tracy leads the team offensively averaging 3.00 kills per set followed by Sadie Gardener at 2.53 kills per set. Mahala Bradburn leads defensively averaging 3.26 digs per set. 

The Bengals sit in ninth in conference standings. Idaho State is third in the Big Sky for blocks averaging 2.29 a set.

Game Day Information

Saturday's match is set to begin at 7 p.m. MT and Sunday's is set to start at 6 p.m. MT.
