COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference and CBS Sports Network announced their 2021 football broadcast schedule today and Southern Utah's August 28 matchup with defending MW champion San Jose State will be featured on the nationally televised network.
The game is set to kickoff at 8:00 p.m. Mountain time (7:00 p.m. local time) inside CEFCU Stadium in San Jose, California. It will be one of just seven college football games taking place that day as the Thunderbirds will be a part of a small group of teams that will open the 2021 season during week zero.
CBSSN is available on DirecTV (Channel 221), DISH Network (Channel 158), Xfinity (Channel 734) and on many other cable systems. CBSSN can be found online at cbssports.comor on paid streaming services such as AT&T, fuboTV, Hulu, Sling TV, and YouTubeTV.

La'akea Kaho'ohanohano-Davis and Justin Miller were both recently named to FCS All-America teams with Kaho'ohanohano-Davis earning STATS Perform and Associated Press honors and Miller being named to the HERO Sports sophomore team. Nine Thunderbirds also earned 2021 Big Sky Football All-Conference honors at the conclusion of the shortened spring season.
