CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah volleyball team hosted Northern Arizona Tuesday night for a match, they would end up losing 0-3 (16-25, 15-25, 21-25).

Stacey Hone led the T-Birds with six kills while Ronnie Robinson and Carissa Richie each had five. Richie also had three blocks and Rachel Wieber had 13 digs.

The Lumberjacks dominated every aspect of Tuesday night's match, hitting .276 while holding the Thunderbirds to just a .067 hitting percentage. They had 41 kills and 41 digs to go with their hitting.

The best shot for the Thunderbirds came in set three when they went on a 4-0 scoring run to tie things up at 15-15. However, the Lumberjacks would score nine of the next 11 points to make it 17-24. Southern Utah made a run at the end, but Northern Arizona was able to finish the set off at 21-25 and earn the three-set sweep.

The Thunderbirds will now hit the road to take on Northern Colorado in Greeley on Thursday, September 30.
