CEDAR CITY, Utah– The Southern Utah University track and field program have announced its 2023 Indoor schedule, consisting of seven regular season meets before competing in their inaugural WAC Indoor Championships on February 24th and 25th.
The Thunderbirds are ready to open their season this weekend at the Sharon Colyear- Danville Season opener at Boston University on Saturday, December 3.
After nearly an entire month out of competition, Southern Utah will hit the road every weekend of January, traveling to several different west coast tournaments beginning with the BYU Cougar Invitational on January 12-14.
The following weekend they will be in Flagstaff Arizona at the NAU Lumberjack Team Challenge on January 20, before heading to Seattle to compete in the UW Invitational on January 27-28.
SUU will head back to NAU on February 3-4 for the Ronn Mann Classic, followed by the final two regular season meets of the indoor season at the Whitworth Invitational and Husky Classic on February 10-11.
The WAC Indoor track and field championships will be held on February 24-25 in Seattle, Washington, and the NCAA Indoor Nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 10-11.
