CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah University's soccer team has announced their 2022 Spring Schedule.

The spring slate kicks off February 26 in Las Vegas as they take on the UNLV Rebels. Their next warm up match takes place in St. George, Utah on March 26 with two games against Dixie State and Westminster College.

SUU remains home on April 2 as they welcome Mesa Community College for the final home match of the spring schedule.

The preseason wraps up on the road with trips to Provo and St. George. The Thunderbirds take on the BYU Cougars April 9 then travel to St. George April 16 to face Dixie State.

Head Coach Kai Edwards knows that their preseason is crucial to the team's success.

"We've hit the ground running this spring and this group is fun to train. The matches we have this spring will challenge us in every way, the same way the WAC will, with the ball and without the ball. We will be playing with a new style that fits this current group." Edwards continues "It is hard to teach but fun and effective to watch. This group has something about them."
