CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah University football program has announced a future six-game series with in-state foe Weber State beginning in 2026. 

The first contest between the two programs will be held at SUU on September 5, 2026 and will rotate locations each year. The series will conclude with a game at Weber State set for September 6, 2031. 

Southern Utah currently holds an all-time record of 8-21 against the Wildcats, with their most recent victory in the series taking place in 2017. 

With SUU set to transition into the Western Athletic Conference beginning July 1, the two in-state foes will not meet on the field for the next four seasons.
