SEATTLE, WA -- The SUU Men's Basketball team fell to 2-5 on the season and 0-2 in WAC play after a 63-73 loss to Seattle U.
"We don't know, what we don't know. And right now we are figuring out how tough it is to win at this level. But we are showing glimpses of how good we could really be." Said, Head Coach Rob Jeter.Â
Game Recap
The first half was back and forth throughout, with the Thunderbirds being within six with just a few minutes left but a late first-half run by the Redhawks would have them leading by nine going into the break.Â
The second half saw Seattle's lead grow to as many as 17 points, but a late surge by the Thunderbirds cut it to ten, but couldn't quite make it single digits down the stretch.

SUU was led by Zion Young with 14 points on 5-10 from the field, he added two assists and two rebounds on the night as well. Prophet Johnson tacked on 12 points of his own and Dominique Ford poured in 10, including three deep balls.Â

"If we can go even 20-25 from the stripe it is a five-point game down the stretch instead of 10. That is an area we can control and must be better at." Said, Jeter.Â
