SACRAMENTO, California - Jentry Skidmore represented Southern Utah well Thursday at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Western Regional. Skidmore wrapped up an impressive 2023 campaign by competing in the long jump at the western regional. Though Skidmore did not qualify to continue to nationals she jumped an impressive 19'7.5". The mark placed her just inside the top 30 at the event.

In the 2023 season, Jentry Skidmore showcased exceptional performances across various track and field events. Skidmore's versatility was on full display this season as she excelled in both indoor and outdoor competitions. With a strong work ethic and dedication, Skidmore consistently pushed to achieve remarkable results throughout the year.

Whether it was sprinting in the 200 meters or hurdling in the 100 hurdles, Skidmore consistently delivered impressive performances. Skidmore's contributions were not limited to individual events but also extended to relay races, where she played a pivotal role in helping the team achieve outstanding times. With exceptional achievements in the high jump, long jump, shot put, and javelin, Skidmore demonstrated versatility as a multi-event athlete for the Thunderbirds.
