CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Women's Basketball team has signed three players who will join the T-Birds in 2025-26—two hail from California and one from Salt Lake City.
Head Coach Tracy Mason said
"This is a fantastic group of future T-Birds. All three are extremely competitive and come from very strong programs. Devyn has a tremendous basketball IQ, she knows how to win and how to make her teammates better. Val is an absolute sharpshooter that can also handle the ball and get to the rim. Joss is tough, physical and does all the intangibles to make her team better. We couldn't be more excited about adding these three to our roster.
Vallory Kuelker
- Hometown - Boulder Creek, California
- Height - 5'8
- Position - Guard
- High School - Pinewood High School

Vallory is a three-point specialist who has won many games in her high school career. In her junior year, she averaged 13 points per game and made 77 threes. Her season-high was a 30-point game in which she made 10 of 11 three-pointers.
Devyn Kiernan

- Height - 5'10
- Position - Guard

Devyn plays high school basketball at one of the most prestigious schools in the Country. Mater Dei has produced countless D1 athletes and is a top team in California. She was a 2024 second-team all-Trinity League honoree and has been a Trinity League Champion three times.
Joss Baker
- Hometown - Salt Lake City, Utah
- Height - 5'10
- Position - Guard/Forward
- High School - Olympus High School

Joss is a multi-sport athlete who just won a state title in soccer. She has been selected for the Utah Top 50 Elite team, and her junior year averaged 15ppg and 10rpg. She recorded 15 double-doubles.
This is a really impressive group of incoming freshmen who will look to make an immediate impact on the squad next year.
