CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The College Sports Communicators have announced the 2024-25 Academic All-District women's and men's soccer teams.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Head Coach Kai Edwards said

"Congratulations to the SUU Women's Soccer players that have earned this award. It is challenging to play college soccer and be excellent in the classroom."

To be nominated for the award, each student-athlete must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA. They also had to have competed in 90% of the team's total games played or started 66% of the team's total games. 

The SUU Student-Athletes that won the award are:

Hailey Hamataka - Sr, MF

Aubrey Murray - Jr, D

Sarah Assumma - Jr, F

Whitney Gardner - Sr, F

Yui Fujii - Jr, MF

Steph Roper - So, F
