CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Thunderbirds prepare to travel to NCAA Regionals in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday, Nov. 14, as a solid 2025 season for the Southern Utah cross country program draws to a close.

NCAA Regionals
With a shift from the Western Athletic Conference to the Big Sky Conference on the horizon, Southern Utah has pieced together a great rebuild year. They'll turn to NCAA Regionals as they look to close out the 2025 year.
The race will be hosted by the University of Utah at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletics Complex. The women's 6K will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the men's 8K will follow at 11:30 a.m.
After the races, a recognition ceremony will be held for athletes whose performances earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors. This will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Thunderbirds met their expectations at the WAC Championships on Oct 31, with the men's team earning third in the seven-team field and the women landing fourth. Six of Southern Utah's athletes earned all-conference honors at the meet.
For the men, junior Logan Peel led the way, earning 11th with a 24:19.4 8K. In the women's 4K, Audrey Hales earned 13th with a time of 21:18.9.
