The Thunderbirds

Presenting a young roster with 10 underclassmen and seven new faces, Southern Utah looks to kick off a new generation of Thunderbirds basketball. In her eighth season, Coach Mason will look to take her revamped squad on a final lap of the Western Athletic Conference before moving to the Big Sky Conference.

Prepared to open their exciting new campaign, the program will be led into battle by a strong group of 2025-2026 captains. The group includes Uhrich, who enters her junior year as the team's active leader in career points scored, sophomore Sierra Chambers, whose development in the offseason has set her up to dazzle at the point guard position, and Brooklyn Fely, an impressively decorated junior recruit from Umpqua Community College.
