CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Women's Basketball team and Head Coach Tracy Mason have signed Morgan Trigueiro, a native of Caruthers, California, who will be joining the Thunderbirds from the College of Sequoias.

Accolades: Morgan left Caruthers High School as the team's all-time leading scorer, registering over 2,000 points. She averaged just over 22 points per game and set a school record of 47 points in a single game in which she made 12 three-pointers. She was named the NWSC CIF Scholarship Athlete of the Year and was the Senior Female Athlete of the Year her senior year.
At College of Sequoias, she averaged 19.1 points per game and upped that to 24.1 in conference play. She shot 46% from the field and an impressive 41% from beyond the arc. Scored a season-high 40 points against Porterville, logged 13 20+ points performances, and hit at least seven three-pointers in three different games.
