Kacey Nady currently serves as the Head Volleyball Coach at Southern Utah University (SUU), she has garnered recognition for her expertise, dedication, and remarkable ability to foster a positive team culture. Her commitment to player development and academic excellence has not only led to on-court success but has also made a profound impact on the university community as a whole.

Before joining the Southern Utah Thunderbirds, Coach Nady showcased her coaching prowess as an assistant coach for the University of San Francisco Dons. During the 2019-20 season, she played a pivotal role in the Dons' achievements, contributing to their success on the court.

However, Coach Nady's journey in the world of volleyball began well before her coaching days. As a player at the University of Oregon, she exhibited exceptional skills that earned her the distinction of being named All-Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention on three occasions. Her outstanding performance significantly contributed to the Ducks' impressive record, securing NCAA Tournament appearances throughout her four years at the university. The highlight of her playing career came in 2014 when she played a key role in leading the Ducks to a memorable Sweet 16 run. In fact, her exceptional hitting abilities placed her among the Ducks' top-five all-time in hitting percentage, further solidifying her place in the program's history.

Nady's dedication to the sport didn't end with indoor volleyball, as she also embraced beach volleyball during her time at both the University of Oregon and the University of Arizona, showcasing her versatility and love for the game.

In her current role as the Head Volleyball Coach at SUU, Coach Nady has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to her players' personal and athletic growth. Her emphasis on fostering a positive team culture has not only elevated the team's performance but has also created an environment where young women are inspired to be better both on and off the court. The influence of her leadership extends beyond the game, with her players striving to become better individuals, students, and athletes for themselves and their communities.

Under Coach Nady's guidance, the Southern Utah volleyball program has achieved significant milestones. The team's qualification for its first WAC conference tournament in the previous season stands as a testament to the program's progress under her leadership. The team also earned recognition from the USMC and AVCA as a National top 20 academic program.

Due to her outstanding coaching abilities and contributions to the program, Coach Nady's contract was extended through the 2027 season. The decision reflects the Southern Utah University Athletics Department's confidence in her capability to continue driving the volleyball program to new heights.

Coach Nady's unwavering dedication, remarkable coaching abilities, and deep love for the sport continue to make her a valuable asset to Southern Utah University. With her at the helm, the future of the Southern Utah volleyball program looks incredibly promising, and the university community eagerly anticipates further success both on and off the court.
