Biography

Prep:  Prepped at Murray HS under head coach Wendy Pehrson ... helped the Spartans to back-to-back region titles in 2005 and 2006 ... led the team to a second-place finish on the state level in 2007 ... all-state honoree as a senior ... two-year team captain with the Spartans ... helped her club team, Bouncers, to a Utah Summer Games gold medal under head coach Chicho Palaez.

Personal:  Parents are Shanna and Norm Nava ... traveled to Europe to play internationally with the Intermountain Volleyball Association in 2005 ... plans to major in nutrition and sports medicine.
