MOSCOW, Idaho - The Thunderbird soccer team wrapped up their weekend road trip in Moscow Sunday with a 4-0 loss to the Vandals of the University of Idaho.

The Vandals struck early as forward Emma Eddy scored the first goal of the game just three minutes and 45 seconds into the match. The Thunderbirds were out shot 5-10, but the score would remain locked at 1-0 for the remainder of the first half.

The second half was an offensive explosion for the Vandals as they added 15 more shots to their shot total with three of them finding their way into the net. Eddy scored her second goal of the game in the 51st minute, midfielder Myah Merino scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute and midfielder Morgan Crosby scored on a free kick in 73rd minute.

The Thunderbirds would not be able to find their way into the back of the net and after 90 minutes of play the score would stand at 4-0 in favor of the University of Idaho.

SUU will play their final 2016 regular-season game next Friday October 28th against the Lumberjacks of Northern Arizona.
