FLAGSTAFF, Arizona --- Today Kasey Knevelbaard traveled to Flagstaff, Arizona to compete in the NAU Tune Up. The tough competitor for the Thunderbirds came home finding himself in the school records in yet another event.

Knevelbaard was the only athlete to compete today. However, his performance in the 800-meter proved how well-rounded of an athlete he really is. Knevelbaard ran a time of 1:50.33 placing him second in SUU history.

Coming Up For The Thunderbirds

The Thunderbirds track and field team is bringing their indoor season to a close as the Big Sky and NCAA Championships approach. The Big Sky Conference Indoor Championship will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22 through Saturday, Feb. 24.

The NCAA Indoor National Championships will be held on Friday, Mar. 9 through Saturday, Mar. 10.
