CEDAR CITY, Utah -- The Thunderbird men's golf team and head coach Richard Church have announced the team's schedule for the 2018-19 season.

The T-Birds will participate in their first event on September 7-9 when they head to the US Air Force Academy to compete in the 2018 Gene Miranda Falcon Invitation.

In total, the Thunderbirds will compete in four tournaments during the Fall Season, including the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational (September 24-25), the Bill Cullum Invitational (October 15-16) and the Red Hawk Invitational (October 20-21).

After a break for winter, the Thunderbirds will return to the course and host the 2019 Pizza Hut-Pat Hicks Invitational. SUU's home tournament will be played at Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George.

During the Spring Season the T-Birds will be playing in an event not typically on their schedule, as they'll compete in Cal Poly Match Play at Cypress Ridge in Arroyo Grande, California.

For the fourth season in a row, the Big Sky Conference Tournament will be decided at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City Nevada. As a team, the Thunderbirds took second at the Big sky Championship last season.

"This will be a good schedule for us and it really sets up well for our guys to be playing their best golf at the end of the season," Church said.
