BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Southern Utah athlete Kasey Knevelbaard competed in the mile at the NCAA Indoor National Championships on Friday evening where he claimed second team All-American status.

Knevelbaard finished the race with a time of 4:09.85 claiming 12th overall in the race, falling two tenths of a second behind final qualifying time.

The redshirt junior looks to continue competing with the Thunderbirds through the 2019 outdoor campaign beginning on March 14.
