STANFORD, Calif. -- Thunderbird junior Jake Vincent saw his 2018-19 campaign come to a close on Wednesday afternoon at Stanford Golf Course, as he finished in a tie for 33rd at NCAA Regional competition in Stanford, California.
Vincent ended the tournament shooting a four-over 214 (64, 79, 71) after shooting just one-over on Wednesday.
The junior carded on a 71 on the final day of competition to finish tied for the second-best finish by an individual.
"Overall this was a very successful and important season for Jake," SUU head coach Richard Church said. "He learned what it takes to win golf tournaments and he has become a very strong leader for our team moving forward. We're excited to see what he will be able to accomplish during his senior year."
Vincent was just the fourth Thunderbird to compete at NCAA Regional competition on the men's side.
