RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- The Southern Utah University Thunderbird cross country teams traveled to UC Riverside where the women finished the race second overall.
Alison Pray was the first to cross the finish line for the Thunderbirds clocking in a time of 20:27.17. This time ranked Pray fifth overall. She was followed by Maddy Francis in seventh and Madison Fruchey in eighth.
Harley Taylor, Haley Tanne, Samantha Simmard and Josie Bushar were also among the top 30 women to finish the race.
The Thunderbird men finished eighth overall in the competition. They were led by Thomas Grant with a seventh place finish locking in a time of 24:32.19. Grant was followed by Jacob Francis and Jason Quinn.Â
