CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah soccer team will open Big Sky Conference play this Sunday, September 29 in Flagstaff, Arizona against the Lumberjacks of Northern Arizona.

The Thunderbirds are still looking for their first win of the season after losing home matches to both CSU Bakersfield and Boise State last weekend.
MaKenzie Lawrence scored her first goal and the team's first goal of the season against the Roadrunners as they lost the match 2-1.
Scouting Report: Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (3-4-1)
The Lumberjacks enter Big Sky play with a 3-4-1 overall record after taking down Iona College, Detroit Mercy, and New Mexico State in non-conference play.
Sophomore Madison Montgomery leads the team in scoring with four goals on the season. Junior Paige Maling is right behind her with three goals.
The Lumberjacks won the last matchup between the two teams last season in Cedar City.
