CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah volleyball team fell to the Montana State Bobcats Saturday afternoon 0-3 (7-25, 18-25, 14-25).
Stacey Hone led the Thunderbirds offensively with eight kills while Raegen Ashby, Carissa Richie, and Ronnie Robinson all had four. Bridgett Triplett had two blocks, Corrin Peterson had 11 assists, and Abigail Longson had eight digs.
The Bobcats out-hit the T-Birds .327-.064 and also out-blocked them 10-3. The Thunderbirds put together just 26 points on the afternoon.
Southern Utah had their best opportunity in the second set when they opened with a 4-0 lead. However, the Bobcats would take their first lead of the set at 11-10 and never look back.
The Thunderbirds will be back in action on October 28 against Idaho in Moscow.
