CEDAR CITY, Utah -- The Southern Utah men's golf team is heading to Chandler, Arizona to take part in one of their two remaining regular season tournaments, the 2021 Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Whirlwind Golf Club.
Last Time Out
When the T-Birds were last on the course they were competing in head-to-head match play against the Weber State Wildcats. The match play resulted in a tie with each team finishing with six points.
In round one, Jake Vincent, Tyler Jones, and Jaden Milne all won their matchups. Vincent beat WSU's Reese Fisher 1UP, Jones beat Issac Buerger at 4&3, and Milne beat Gunnar Knutson at 4&2. Ryker Smith split his matchup while Ali Hameed and Jaxon Long both dropped their matchups.
In round two, Jones and Long came out victorious as Jones beat Fisher 1UP and Long beat Knutson at 4&3. Hameed split his matchup with Brody Childs while Vincent, Smith, and Milne all dropped their matchups.
Tournament Preview - 2021 Wyoming Cowboy Classic
The 2021 Wyoming Cowboy Classic will be played at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona. The course plays par 72 and measures 7,218 yards in length.

Last Time @ Wyoming Cowboy Classic
The 2020 edition of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic was canceled due to COVID-19 so this is the first time the T-Birds are back in two years.
During the 2019 Wyoming Cowboy Classic, the T-Birds finished tied for 10th shooting 868 (289, 290, 289) led by the efforts of Jake Vincent. Vincent recorded a 209 (74, 69, 66) to tie for sixth place.
