SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Tyler Jones and Jaden Milne both finished inside the top 50 for the Southern Utah University men's golf team Tuesday at the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate.

Jones finished 40th overall with a seven-over-par 151 while Milne carded an eight-over-par 152 to place 45th.

As a team, Southern Utah finished in 13th on a 41-over-par 617. The Thunderbirds finished three strokes in front of UC Riverside.

After Jones and Milne, Rashon Williams finished 66th for the T-Birds on a 13-over-par 157. Atthasit (Anfield) Srichun finished one stroke behind to place 70th.

Cal State Northridge and Grand Canyon shared the team championship by shooting identical 576's. Sacramento State placed third at three over par. Grand Canyon's Matteo Cristoni claimed the individual win on a five-under-par 139.

Napat (Pun) Vorrasanpisut rounded out SUU's lineup by carding a 17-over-par 161. His efforts landed him in 77th.

Southern Utah will now turn its focus to the Big Sky Conference Championship which will run April 25-27.
