The Thunderbirds
Rashon Williams leads the way for SUU, finishing two rounds at one under par good enough for T32. Round one for Williams was consistent, turning in five birdies and four bogeys to finish at one under 71. Followed by an even par 72 in the second round of the day. He tallies nine birdies total through two rounds.
Mitchell Abbott once again finds himself playing consistent golf. Shot a one under 71 in round one but a costly double bogey in round two would push him to three over par and he'll finish day one in a tie for 55th at two over par.
Leo Torres comes in third for SUU, shooting a season best even par 72 in a round that saw 14 pars, two birdies and two bogeys. But an up and down second round has him finish at three over par T63.
Jaxon Long was in a good spot after a one over par 73 in round 1 but a frustrating second round only saw one birdie and had Long come in at five over. He sits in 76th (+6) for the tournament.
