BOULDER CITY, Nevada – Men's golf will head to the Boulder Creek Golf Club for the WAC Championship men's golf tournament. The tournament will be three total rounds, starting on April 28th and finishing on April 30th. Each day will consist of 18 holes of play with a practice round on Thursday.
The Course
The Boulder Creek Golf Club is a par 72, 7,482-yard course. The 2023 WAC Championship returns to Boulder Creek for a third time. The course is made up of three nine-hole courses and is considered by many to be one of the top municipal golf courses in the country. Scenic vistas, cool creeks, colorful wildflowers, and smooth beach bunkers add to the lure of this unique golf course.

The Thunderbirds
Mitchell Abbott will head the lineup for SUU. Abbott has played the most consistent golf of anybody on the team with a stroke average of 74.6 this season. The T-Birds will need Abbott to play his best golf during the WAC Championship.
Rashon Williams is the most in-form golfer for SUU, with multiple rounds under par on the year and coming off a T23 finish last time out.
Expect Leo Torres and Jaxon Long to both be important pieces of the Thunderbirds' success this weekend as both have stroke averages under 77 strokes per round.
