CEDAR CITY, Utah – Southern Utah University Women's golf team and head coach Tara Oglesby are excited to announce the signing of Ellie Olsen. 

Olsen graduated from Wasatch High School and will be joining the team in the Fall of 2023. 

Olsen took second in her Region in 2022 and 2023, and placed fourth at the Utah State High School Golf Tournament, shooting an impressive 69 on day two. 

Her junior year she earned Second-Team All-State honors and her senior year made First-Team All-State. 

Olsen finished second in PGA Junior series total points in 2021 and 2022. 

"I'm very excited to have Ellie join our team. She is going to be representing our local Utah talent for the Thunderbirds. I'm looking forward to seeing her contributions to making our team a competitive opponent in the WAC." Said Oglesby
