CEDAR CITY, Utah – With our homecoming football game this weekend, we wanted to showcase a few things that will be new at Eccles Coliseum!
First and foremost will be our new 'Thunder Kids Zone'! It will be located on the stadium's north end; various activities will include bounce houses and slides, cornhole, ring toss, face painting, and more. Parents/guardians will be required to supervise their children.
On the opposite end of the stadium will be Thor's Photo Booth! 75 minutes prior to kickoff, Thor will be at his photobooth for 30 minutes to take pictures with anybody that wants one!
The Thunder Dog and souvenir cup will also be new this year. Be sure to stop by the concession stand and get one of our famous Thunder Dogs and an SUU-labeled souvenir cup.
To help our fans enjoy the game even more, we have installed a brand-new video board that will be used to show replays and garner fan engagement!
New at Eccles Coliseum will also be an SUU banner extending the length of the east sideline and new banners at the south entrances to the stadium.
The field will also look a little different, as our football program has switched to the United Athletic Conference and will now sport the UAC logo.
And last but not least, when researching any of our 15 amazing athletic teams, be sure to pay attention to our brand-new website that features a new look and a multitude of different functions to make it as easy as possible for all of our fans to follow along with SUU athletics!
