CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- Coming off back-to-back conference wins, Dominique Ford, who scored 23 points in each contest, has earned himself the WAC Player of The Week award. 

In the game at Tarleton State, Ford was 6-10 from the field and 1-2 from deep. He made 10 of his 14 free throw attempts, pulled down four rebounds, and had three steals in 34 minutes. 

At Abilene Christian, Ford was 8-13 from the field and 1-2 from three. He went 6-10 from the line and had five rebounds and two steals. 

Ford scored at least 20 points in the last five Thunderbirds' contests. He is now averaging 17.2 points per game on 44/35/80 percent shooting splits. He averages four rebounds a game, two assists, and just over one steal per contest. 

"Dom has been really great for us scoring the basketball, especially these last few games when we have needed him to step up; he has. It's great to see him get recognition for the hard work that he consistently puts in." Said Head Coach Rob Jeter.
